NAJ is a New York-based fashion photographer with roots in Jamaica. His photography journey began in childhood, a passion ignited when gifted his first camera. This initial intrigue, amplified by the billboards around him in rural Mandeville, evolved into a fascination with capturing landscapes, and eventually, the essence of people in family portraits and weddings.

Over the last 10 years, NAJ has established himself as a top commercial photographer in Jamaica. His portfolio boasts collaborations with renowned advertising agencies, including Mystique Integrated, and commercial clients such as Scotia Bank Canada’s third largest bank. He had worked on fashion shoots with global icons including Jasmine Sanders and artist Sean Paul.

NAJ seamlessly integrates his roles as a photographer, filmmaker, producer art and creative director. While his technical expertise is evident in crisp, evocative images, it is his innate joyfulness and profound love for human connection that gives each of his projects a unique energy and makes him a true people photographer.
