FAQ
Booking & Process
-
Fill out the contact form with your brand, goals, and preferred shoot date. I'll follow up within 72 hours to schedule a free 15-minute Meet with NAJ call, where I learn about your goals directly. If it's a good fit, we move into a brand onboarding call to kick off either a one-off shoot or a content retainer, depending on what your brand needs right now.
-
Ideally, 2 to 3 weeks out, especially if you're a newer or growing brand and we need time to plan things properly. That said, from experience working with bigger commercial brands, if you already have your mood board, references, and marketing direction locked in, I can turn around and jump on a shoot within 24 to 72 hours, since I'm used to moving fast in that kind of environment too. For retainer clients, shoots are scheduled on a recurring monthly or quarterly cadence once onboarded.
-
A one-off shoot is a single, standalone photo and video session, great if you need content fast for a launch, new space, or campaign. A retainer is an ongoing monthly partnership for brands that need a consistent content pipeline without re-booking every time. Most clients start with a one-off shoot, then move into a retainer once they see the process firsthand.
Niche & Service Area
-
I specialize exclusively in health, wellness, and fitness brands: spas, bathhouses, Pilates and reformer studios, functional beverage companies, healthy snack and food brands (think better-for-you chips, gummies, and candy alongside functional drinks), health tech companies, fitness instructors, and fitness apparel brands, from footwear to activewear. That focus means every shoot is built around what actually converts in the wellness space, not generic brand content.
-
Yes. I'm based in the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania metro area and regularly shoot for wellness and fitness brands across all three, including the Lehigh Valley.
-
Yes, I'm actively expanding into Los Angeles and take on wellness, spa, and fitness clients there in addition to the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania market.
-
Yes, both nationally and internationally. Travel is scoped into your proposal based on shoot location.
Services, Team & Deliverables
-
Yes, I'm a hybrid shooter. Photo and video are captured in the same session under one creative vision, so your brand gets a consistent look across both without hiring two separate vendors or running two separate shoots.
-
I lead every shoot as creative director, and depending on scope, I'm often the photographer and videographer myself. On larger productions, I direct a trusted team that can include a second photographer or cinematographer, producer, set assistant, PA, MUA, hairstylist, video editor, and audio engineer, so you get full production value without managing multiple vendors yourself.
-
Troubleshooting is built into how I run productions. My set assistants and producers handle real-time problem-solving on shoot day, so if something changes last minute, it gets absorbed and resolved without derailing your timeline or budget.
-
Yes. For brands that want it, I offer content strategy suggestions during our preproduction call, especially helpful if you're newer and still figuring out what performs. If your team already has creative direction locked in, I'm happy to just execute your vision. Caption copywriting is also available separately as a paid add-on for anyone who wants their existing footage and photos turned into scroll-stopping posts.
-
Every proposal spells out exact deliverable counts, edited photos, reels, before you book, so there's no ambiguity. Once we're underway, you get access to a live status tracker so you can follow your project in real time and see exactly where things stand in the deliverable process, rather than wondering. We also do a review call to walk through the work together. Turnaround depends on scope, timeline, and budget, but most projects are delivered within 72 hours, sometimes faster, sometimes longer for larger productions.
Pricing, Rights & Trust
-
Pricing depends on scope: deliverable count, shoot length, add-ons like paid social usage or caption writing, and travel. Every project starts with a custom proposal, not a flat rate card, so you're only paying for what your brand actually needs.
-
You receive full usage rights for organic and owned channels, website, social, email, as standard. Extended usage for paid advertising is available as a licensing add-on, and a full rights buyout is also available if you'd prefer to own the content outright. Both options are scoped clearly in your proposal upfront so there's never a surprise later.
-
For the most part, this isn't something clients run into, largely because of how the process is built. Before any final assets are delivered, we get on a client review call to walk through the photos and video together in real time. You can flag anything you'd like adjusted right then, because the goal is to beat up the work together, not each other. That collaborative step, catching things before delivery instead of after, is what keeps clients consistently happy with the end result.
